Dust Free Rooms
You’d be amazed just how much light comes into your roof-space between the tiles, and these gaps provide an ideal opening for debris. Dust and leaf litter is blown in regularly, particularly in the Summer months.
Our Dust Free Rooms are designed and installed to keep all the dust and debris out of your new loft storage area. We use a white, flexible material to encapsulate your storage area; it’s called White-Cell Insulation. We use White-cell for three very good reasons:
- Its insulating value of R2.5 is efficient for cutting down on the heat coming through your roof via the roof-tiles.
- It’s lightweight and is visually appealing, and most importantly it keeps the dust out of your storage area.
- It’s a great alternative to Gyprock and much less expensive.
If you store all of your things in plastic sealed boxes, the dust will be less of a problem, or wrapping everything in plastic is another option, but you’ll soon get sick of wrapping and unwrapping everything you’re storing. It doesn’t cost a lot to White-cell and dustproof your new storage area, and we suggest that you look at your anticipated long-term use when making your decision. It really pays to dust proof and insulate, sometimes as temperatures soar in Summer, it may hit 55°C+ in your roof.
