What’s involved in creating attic storage space?
If you are interested in finding out how you can gain useable attic storage space, first we arrange an inspection date and time to suit you, and we have a specialised consulting team including structural engineers that cover all of the Perth and Sydney Metro areas. We will inspect your roof space and give you an idea of how much attic storage is available and if any structural modifications are required. We will suggest the style of attic ladder, which will suit your budget and attic usage, indicate the floor area you can utilize for storage space and give you some options regarding attic ventilation, lighting and loft insulation.
We will leave you with a fully detailed quotation for your attic storage solutions project. When you decide to go ahead, we will ask you for a deposit and arrange for a qualified and professional carpenter/installer to fit out your attic storage project. The average attic storage installation takes between 2 and 3 days to complete dependent upon the situation we are presented with.
Our installers are polite, punctual and fully house-trained so you won’t have to clean up any mess once they’re finished. Our Insulated Dust Proof Room packages are generally available in 10, 15 or 20 or more square metre floored areas which is enclosed by the Whitecell (insulation and dust proofing) walls as required. All of our insulated dust free attic storage rooms incorporate:
- A fold down Attix attic ladder
- Four whitecell walls and inside roof for dust proofing
- 10, 15, 20 or more square metres of attic flooring
- One turbo beam roof ventilator (this allows for natural light and airflow in your attic storage area)
Please note that at this stage we are only able to offer this attic conversions service in Perth (inc the South-West) and Sydney Metro areas. All of our Insulated Dust Proof Rooms are intended for light attic storage and not as habitable space (for example, an extra bedroom).
